Zetti Girls

I love the Zetti style of art.  It is so fun and funky.  I created a couple of Zetti like collages over the weekend.

Here are my Zetti Girls.

The first one I made was

 

Then I played around with her even more and changed her into this

 

Then I even played some more with the collage but this time digitally to create this


 

I need to get some fashion magazines or something like them to cut more people out of and create some more zetti style art.

 

I also need to add some arms and legs next time I think.

Mixed Media and Collage

Well, it looks like I haven't blogged in awhile. I've been playing with my paints and papers and going on trail rides here recently. It is starting to get a bit too chilly in my art studio so I am going to move part of it back into the house from the porch so that I can continue to create art this winter. Wow! My chick mixed media is on the Redbubble homepage today.

Thanks to Redbubble and the homepage curator who chose to place my artwork among the other amazing artworks on the homepage of Redbubble today. It is a wonderful Christmas present.

New Business Cards

I have recently added several new business cards to my Zazzle store. Now I have over 100 designs to choose from. I will continue to add new ones as well. Here are a few of the newest ones in the store.












And not a business card but too cute to resist. A squirrel :) Normally they stay in the woods across the way that belong to our neighbors and rarely come here as they don't like all the open space in the pasture but they can't resist the acorns that have fallen to the ground so there was one in the pasture yesterday and I was able to get some cute photos.



I think it is saying would you just leave me alone so I can eat my acorns in peace.

Digital and Paper Collage

I am doing more collage work both digitally and also using actual paper. It is fun. I will upload more to my store soon. I have another stack of paper collages ready to photograph. I also have some more digital collages done and ready to upload. But sometimes there are too many people trying to upload at once so I can't get anything uploaded and have to try again later. Here are some of the items in my store already.











I've also been so busy with the farmer's markets each week but I try to find at least a little bit of time each day to do some collage work either digitally or using actual paper.

Handmade Cards

I have taken some photos of my handmade ATCs, ACEOs, ect. to sale as reproduction greeting cards. They are on Zazzle and a few are on another site also. The other site had the strangest request. They wanted me to make my handmade stuff not look so handmade and look more polished and professional. I thought the point of handmade was that it was handmade and not perfect. They didn't like the crinkled paper I purposely used on some of the ATCs for the effect I was going for. I've decided I won't be designing anything new for that other site and will be designing more for Zazzle now. Zazzle doesn't complain about the handmade look. I even have some fans of the store that like that look. I shouldn't have to change my art to satisfy what someone else (the other site) wants.

The other site let this one on but said it would be better if I digitally added the words instead of using my own handwritten words. But on a handmade card I think it should look handmade. Anyways... Thanks for letting me vent this morning.

Collage Art

I've uploaded some of my collage artworks to Zazzle here recently. I want to make some more collages soon. My scanner is not working so I am having to photograph them.

Here is one I made last year but just now photographed.



And one I made today and photographed while the glue was still wet and before a layer of sealer was applied.
