I love the goats so much. Last night I could see Misha's unborn kids kicking and rolling around. I can't wait until the kids are born. I have never had goat kids born here. It was only last spring that I got my first goat kid bottle babies to raise. This spring I will have goat kids born here :) I am going to let their mother's raise them and not raise them as bottle babies. I hope to make some goat's milk soap of my own with some goat's milk from my own goats. I love goat's milk soap.

One of my Older photos

That is still one of my personal faves. It was a warm March day back in 2008 after a really bad winter. We had snow on the ground for months and on this day almost all the snow melted away. I could feel the warm southern winds blowing in from the south but you could also feel the chill of the frozen river so one moment it felt like the heater was blowing on you and the next it would feel like a cold winter wind was blowing on you down at the Mississippi River in Fort Madison, Iowa.

Chicken Eggs

These are just a couple of the wonderful eggs my lovely hens have laid in the past few days. A couple of the pullets just started laying eggs this week adding olive colored eggs to the mix. Now I get pastel green, olive green, brown, pinkish, and white eggs.
