And my newest cheesy Mum card.
A friend of mine saw the "Bee Happy" card in my last post and suggested I make a cheesy one for Mother's Day.
Not much else to say today. It's just a chilly and cloudy day outside so I'll hopefully get some sort of new artwork done.

Have a Wonderful Week
Hope you have a wonderful week. There is a fog like pea soup out there right now. Think I will curl up with a blanket and finish the book I was reading esp. since the Internet connection is running slow right now. Rather than fight with it I'll just do something else for now. Have a great week!

Rainy Day
It's rainy today. The rain is melting away what snow remains on the ground. But it is forcast to snow again this week. Just a reminder that winter is still here from Mother Nature I guess. Maybe this flower will make you think of warm summer days. I took it after a rain last summer.
I played around today and make this new digital art. Here it is as a business card. I also have it on other products as well.
I used my own texture I call, "Galaxy", and a vintage fish (from one of my vintage children's books) with digital alterations to it.
Most of the hens took this rainy day off from laying eggs but who can blame them with the crazy weather swing we had this week. Well, have a wonderful week.

Have a Wonderful Weekend
Have a wonderful weekend. The poultry have loved all the lovely spring-like weather we had this week. Sadly, winter has to come back for now but spring will arrive again shortly.
Some of the pullets are just beginning to lay eggs now. My goose has even laid a few eggs now. The ducks have even given us a couple eggs this week. :) They know spring will be here soon as well.
Well, I'm off to enjoy the lovely day before it gets dark outside when the temps. are supposed to drop back to below freezing again. See ya later. Have a wonderful weekend.

Wonderful Day, New Business Cards
It's a wonderful day outside today. We hit 63 degrees and sunny today :) In between spending time outside enjoying the day I added a few new business card designs to my business card line at Zazzle.
And now it's time to go back outside for awhile. This time I'll take the camera out with me. Though it's pretty muddy out there I'm sure there is something that I can take a photo of. Have a wonderful evening.

Keep Calm
I've added some new items to my "Keep Calm" product line at Zazzle recently.
Most of the snow is melting away during this warm-up we are having at the moment. Yesterday is was lovely and sunny. I was outside most of the day. Today it is really foggy and damp but still warm. Tomorrow they say it might make it to 60 degrees. Woot! Have a wonderful day.

Where Is Spring?

Where's spring? I'm ready for it. It is now 1 degree above zero here. On Sunday it is forecast to be 38 degrees which I'm sure will feel very nice after this weeks sub-zero below normal temps. I was without Internet part of Tues. and almost all day yesterday. I'm not sure if the weather had anything to do with that or not. So there's not much new in my Zazzle store this week.

New Posters
Wow! We had the worst snow storm in history here last week. That meant that all the schools and a lot of businesses were closed. The Internet was running really slowly last week with all the people stuck at home and online. Also Zazzle was going through maintenance so I was not able to get as much done there the past week as I would have liked. But I did keep busy creating new artworks that I have been slowly uploading to the store. Here are some of the newest posters in the store.
Think spring.
I let the goats out to play in the snow for awhile yesterday. They were going stir crazy in the barn. The only place that was snow free was the long driveway because it was cleared with a tractor so the goats and cats were having races with each other back and forth. It was so fun and cute to watch. The poultry are beginning to think spring around here. I am getting a few more eggs each day. I got the first goose egg of the year yesterday. I saw some of the pullets peeking into and looking around the nesting boxes. Some of them ever went inside and moved some of the hay around in them. I think we will be getting some more eggs here soon. Well, stay warm and think spring. Have a great week :)

More New Business Cards
I seem to be in a business card creating mode at the moment so there are more new business cards in my Zazzle store. With the winter storm heading in I'm sure I'll be creating even more as long as the power does not go out. I have some errands to run today before the storm arrives and then I plan to sit down and play and create new art. Maybe after we get the snow I will go take some photos of it. They say this storm will be the worst one for use yet this winter. Depending on which station you listen to the weather on we are getting 8 inches to 20 inches of snow over the next 48-72 hours. The critters know the weather is about to change. Well... I guess I better get going. Here are a couple of other new designs in the store.

New Business Cards
I've added several new business card designs to my Zazzle store recently.
Here are a few of them.
I'll be working on some new designs and adding even more to the store in the future. I haven't been keeping my blog very current here lately. I was going to try to post daily this year but it looks like that won't be happening. Instead I will try to post something at least once a week on the blog. I've been busy working on new art, doing things around the farm, and reading some books. I bought a box full of books at auction awhile back and am trying to get them read so I can resale them this spring as soon as the swap meets start back up. I am so looking forward to spring. Can't wait for garden weather, swap meets, broody hens, baby chicks, ect. that spring will bring. Take care and have a wonderful weekend.

Burr!
Burr! It sure is cold outside. I'm been staying indoors as much as possible this week and working on some new artwork.
I've combined one of my poppy photos with a texture from Paper Digital Art and ImagesbyKim and also a Playingwithbrushes texture to create "Poppy Marie."
I've added a Shadowhouse Creations texture to this barn photo I took back in Nov. of 2010.
"Vintage Red Bird" is a combination of my photography and vintage images.
I've also sent several more of my photography, digital art, and vintage files over to 3drose.com the past week and they will soon be up for sale there and also at Amazon.com as well.
The hatchery catalogs have been arriving in the mail along with the seed catalogs. So I am now dreaming of spring flowers and chicks. I think I want to add some different breeds to the flock this spring and am also hoping for a few broodies in the flock that will hatch out some new chicks. Last year I didn't have any broody hens but the year before I had a few.

Some New Artwork
I played around this weekend with some textures from jinterwas on Flickr in the Handmade textures set. If you use any of her textures please give give her credit for them. Thanks.
I'll probably play around today and see what else I can create. It is fun to just play and see what happens. What better to do on a nasty icy winter day. It is forecast to snow later todat but right now we have freezing rain. It is stuck to the windows so you can't really see out them any more. I'm crossing my fingers the ice layer doesn't get too thick and cause us to loose power. The schools were delayed two hours today when I first woke up but now I am seeing more of them being cancelled for the day instead as they scroll across the bottom of the tv screen.
It seems like this month has been flying by. How are you doing on your new year resolutions? I'm still following mine to have fun and create art. :) Have a great week.
