Several New Cards

Several new cards have just been approved to go live for sale at my card store. There are more waiting in line so there should be even more new cards added later this week and on into next week as well.

Here are some of the newest ones in the store.

There are other new cards as well. I have one of the last Farmers Markets of the season tonight. It is the last one for this town that I go to on Tues. nights. I'm taking my camera with me in case there is something interesting or beautiful to photograph. It sure is windy out there today.

I've added a few more new things to both my stores. The card above is in my private gallery at Greeting Card Universe for now but I also added it to the long line of cards waiting for approvals so within the next two weeks it should also be in my public gallery as long as they accept it for sale. I'll be uploading it to my Zazzle store sometime soon as well. Maybe even today since it is forecast to rain later today.

Busy Adding New Cards

I was really busy adding new cards for approval at my card store the other day. I have 130 cards in line waiting for approval at the moment. With the holiday rush though they are having so many cards come in for approval that it is taking about 2 weeks for approvals so it will be a bit of a wait until the new cards will be live and for sale on the site. I added some of them to my private gallery so you can see some of the new ones now if you go to the private gallery. It just doesn't get picked up by search engines so I don't really use it that often. Anyone can purchase from the private gallery though if you would like to.

I'll share some of the new ones once they go live for sale. I have a few Thanksgiving ones waiting for approval. I know I am running late for them and should have been designing several months ahead of time. I also have some any occasion ones in line for approval. I will probably design some more cards of some kind today as well since it is rainy outside.

Wow! Is This For Real?

I sold 500 greeting cards yesterday. I still can't believe it.



I am so happy. Misha is happy too. I gave her some extra goat treats last night and told her she is famous now. I think the other goats are a bit jealous but I told them that someday their photos would sale on cards as well.

I haven't taken any photos of the goats recently. As soon as this cloudy rainy weather moves on I think I'll take some more goat photos.

Many New Items at my Zazzle Store



I was able to add many new items to my Zazzle store today. They vary from my photography to digital art on aprons, mugs, greeting cards, bags, tees, and more.

I did some Keep Calm and Carry On digital art recently. I know that it seems to be everywhere these days but I love the words so I decided to create some of my own art using an image from the public domain I found and digitally altered into my various creations.

Blacksmith at Work is my dad making a latch. He has been doing blacksmithing since last year and I finally went out and took some photos while he was working on a project.

New Cards



I'm waiting on several new cards to be approved for sale over at Greeting Card Universe. Strange thing though is that one I just uploaded yesterday was already approved while ones I made several days ago are still waiting. Oh, well. One of these days they will also be in the store. This photo is from a dear friend, Melanie, that I met at the Farmers Markets this summer. She sent it to me and told me I could use it. Thanks, Melanie. :)

More cards will be in the store soon, I hope. My fingers are crossed. I'm going to be going to one of the last Farmers Markets of the season tonight. Once they are done for the season I will have more time and will create some new photography and digital art for my stores. I love to be busy during the summer and autumn but I also love the slower season of winter when I can play around more with digital art as we spend more time indoors.

More New Items

I've been busy outdoors the past couple of days but I did get some of the photos I took this past weekend uploaded into the store.



I took this photo as the sun was setting on the Hoover Trail in Morning Sun, Iowa on Sat. evening. I know Teasel is a weed but I thought it was pretty as the sun was setting. It used to be used in floral arrangements and they say that is how it spread as a weed.

I took this during the fall festival in Bentonsport, Iowa.

I have one of the last Farmers Markets of the year tonight. I counted up and after tonight between the two markets I go to I'll only have 4 more nights at Farmers Markets until next year. Hopefully since the weather is so nice lots of people will be out at the market but I also know that a lot of the farmers are still busy bringing in the harvest and so that means that they are too busy to make it to the market. I made a few more collages yesterday that will be available for sale at the Farmers Markets. Maybe if I am lucky I will sale some more items at the markets this year. Well I better get busy I need to take some photos of some vintage bird cards I got at an antique store recently and also work on my store some before the market tonight. I'm going to leave a bit early and also check out a book sale before the market. Maybe there will be some great bargains there. I'd love to find a few more vintage children's books with chickens in them.

Busy Weekend

Had a busy but fun weekend enjoying the nice summer-like temps. Yesterday I went on a drive and took a ton of photos. Today I added some new items to the store.


Here are some of the newest items in the store.

I met a cute little frog on Sat. at a nature area. I picked him/her up and took a few photos and then released it back to the wild unharmed. I went looking for the Pelicans I had seen the day before at the nature area but they had already flown the coop on their fall migration to warmer areas. I did see plenty of frogs and other wildlife though. I need to get a telephoto lens for the camera someday as several of the birds were just too far away to get any good photos with the lens I have.

A Bokeh birthday card. I created this photo when taking photos of the glitter pumpkin I created.




Here is one of the glitter pumpkins I created with a bunch of mod podge and glitter. There were some mini pumpkins for sale at the Farmers Market Friday evening so I bought a few and decorated them.

Harvest Time

It's harvest time. All the farmers are out with the combines in the fields around here. It is so dusty but at sunset it looks pretty. I took some sunset harvest photos last night and am going to be adding them to the store soon.
