Best Friends
My Aceo/Business Card was awarded a Today's Best Award on Zazzle this past weekend. Woot! I have been having some issues getting things to upload on Zazzle. But I'm going to keep trying. I am also going to start creating things for my Redbubble and Greeting Card Universe stores again. I haven't added many new things to those sites recently but I will add new things to both places this week.

Pintos at Work
Here are a couple of photos I took yesterday as we passed a pair of Pinto draft horses on their way back home from working in the fields. I plan to add a few more to my store soon. Tonight I have a farmer's market. Hopefully it doesn't rain like it did last week. But at that market people still came out in the rain. Tues. it had rained all day but the sun was shining during the market time and still very few people came so none of the vendors of veggies, pies, or art did very well. Hopefully next week there will be better as well. I've got to get busy and add a few more layers of sealer to a new art piece I am taking to the market tonight. See ya all later!

Hi Again!
My Internet went down last week so I was unable to blog or do anything with my stores. Now I am back online. I just took some photos of the most beautiful Pinto draft horses at work in Amish country today. I am going to be uploading those photos to my store soon. I've also been busy going to farmer's markets. I now sell at three different markets each week. I need to get some more art supplies and create some more art to sale at the farmer's markets. I've almost sold out of all the necklaces I made. Anything I sale at the farmer's market has to be handmade by me but I am able to pass out business cards to people that might be interested in my products for sale at my online stores also. It is a lot of fun going to the markets and talking to folks.
Anyways...

Possible 4th of July Card
I'm having difficulties with the Zazzle uploader and adding new images there at the moment. So, I thought I would share an older card that would work great for the 4th of July. Feel free to customize it. You can add words such as "Happy 4th of July!" on the picture or inside the card (whatever you wish).

White Peony
I wasn't a very good year for the peonies. I think there were a total of four or maybe five blooms this year and that was all. The late frost we had wasn't very good for them. But I did get a couple of photos before the thunderstorms tore up what blooms there were. Hopefully there will be more flowers to photograph soon. The lily flowers are just about to open and I also planted some flower seeds right after the frost that will hopefully be blooming here soon as well. I love to photograph flowers as well as animals.

Digital Hen
I started with a photo I took of my vintage recipe tin. I have no clue how old it is or who made it as there are no markings on it. I got it for a quarter at a garage sale because I thought it was so pretty but that's getting off subject. So anyways... I took the photo and then I added a texture to it. After I added the texture I started playing around with the colors until I came up with this. I hope to play a bit more today before we leave for tonight's farmer's market. Then we have another farmer's market tomorrow. I'll take my camera with me both days and hopefully I'll get a chance to walk around the farmer's markets and take some photos. Who knows what phtography or art I will come up with next. :)

TTV Photography
Sometimes I get out my vintage Kodak Brownie Camera and do TTV photography. I love the dust and the glare I get taking photos this way. I know there are contraptions to use that I can reduce the glare with but I don't use anything but my camera. Sometimes you get some really neat effects.
