That is still one of my personal faves. It was a warm March day back in 2008 after a really bad winter. We had snow on the ground for months and on this day almost all the snow melted away. I could feel the warm southern winds blowing in from the south but you could also feel the chill of the frozen river so one moment it felt like the heater was blowing on you and the next it would feel like a cold winter wind was blowing on you down at the Mississippi River in Fort Madison, Iowa.

Chicken Eggs
These are just a couple of the wonderful eggs my lovely hens have laid in the past few days. A couple of the pullets just started laying eggs this week adding olive colored eggs to the mix. Now I get pastel green, olive green, brown, pinkish, and white eggs.

I love this necklace. It was handmade by an artist from Ecuador. I bought it at a cultural fair in Kansas City, Missouri back when I was a student in university classes. I've placed it on one of my vintage books to photograph it. I have then added a texture from "Shadowhouse Creations"

Ship Shape
For this I took a photo I took back in the winter of 2008 and have added a texture from "Shadowhouse Creations" in the package "6 faves of mine." I changed the color of the texture to blue before using it and I really like what is added to this photo. You will find "Ship Shape" in my Redbubble gallery.
