The weather has been so lovely here lately.  I have several photos I've recently taken that I need to edit and add to my Zazzle store sometime soon including a bunch of photos I took at this year's RAGBRAI ride when it was in Fairfield.

Here are some more of the newest items in my stores.  I recently found a few abandoned houses and barns and took some photos of them.  I'm hoping to go revisit them in the fall when the leaves change colors and maybe sometime in the winter as well with some snow on the ground.

Signs, Signs, EveryWhere A Sign

This is one of my newest photos. Now I can't seem to get this song out of my head.



It's a rainy day around here today so I probably won't be out taking any new photos today but hopefully I will get some new photos taken this weekend. I'm wanting to get more barn photos and more horse photos some day. I also would like to take more photos of textures to add to my own stash of textures to use in my digital art. If you would like textures for your art you can check out my textures set on Flickr or I also have some textures on Deviantart.

I'm going to work on adding a few more things here in a moment. I went to a swap meet/flea market yesterday and got some vintage keys :) I also two adorable Polish chickens to add to the flock. One of them was a rooster the guy said but I was pretty sure it was a hen and it was :) She laid me an egg soon after I got her home. I'll take some photos of them soon as well. Right now I better get to work on my Zazzle store as the time you can use the Internet at the library is limited.

Hi all.

Hi. I haven't blogged in ages. I was busy moving last month. I am now settled into the new place and hoping to have some sort of Internet connection sometime soon. I've created a lot of new art just haven't been able to post it to the stores yet until I get the Internet at home. Right now I am checking in at a public library.

I've taken several barn photos the past month. Here's an older work of mine from 2010 hopefully very soon I will be able to add the newest barn artworks I've created to the store.

Find lots of Iowa Barn Art from posters and tees to prints, calendars, and ornaments. I think Iowa barn art would make a great gift for someone who lives in Iowa and loves barns or even just someone who loves barns.

I plan to take more photos of barns someday and create even more Iowa barn art. It's going to be so cold the next couple of days though so I won't be out driving on back country roads looking for barns to photograph for at least a little while. I just realized I better get busy making Halloween items as I have recently started selling this card in the past few days. I don't have that many Halloween designs available so I need to get some more designed.



I also have it over at Zazzle in a couple of different styles all shot on the same day. They were some of my Muscovy ducklings last fall that are now grown up and raising ducklings of their own. Muscovies are the best ducks. They are great egg layers and excellent at eating insects around the farm.
