One World One Heart

The One World One Heart event is going on now until Feb. 15th. On Feb. 15th I will pick a winner by using a random number generator. That winner may choose any 2 greeting cards from my Zazzle store and I will have them shipped to you. I have everything from photography of my animals, flowers, ect. to vintage images that are in the public domain that will be reproduced as a brand new greeting card. At the moment there are 1160 cards to choose from and I am sure to add even more before the end of the event.

Here are just 2 examples you will be able to choose from. You have until midnight on Feb. 14th to enter.

I just love my critters and photography so much so many of my photos are of my critters. Sometimes I also take photos of other people's critters as well. I also love flowers so several of my photos are of flowers and pretty weeds. Yes, weeds can sometimes be pretty. I also really love vintage postcards. There you have it. A little about me. More on Goats

I can't believe my Thumbelina will be a year old in just a few short months. She's my baby still even if she is no longer this small. She is spoiled rotten as are the rest of the goats. They love to go on long walks. They love to play. I love to play with them and take their photos. I'll be taking more photos of them sometime later and adding them to my Zazzle store. I just realized I haven't added any new photos of them and the only photos of them in my store are when they were kids except for the photo of Paint I took a few months ago.

I love the goats so much. Last night I could see Misha's unborn kids kicking and rolling around. I can't wait until the kids are born. I have never had goat kids born here. It was only last spring that I got my first goat kid bottle babies to raise. This spring I will have goat kids born here :) I am going to let their mother's raise them and not raise them as bottle babies. I hope to make some goat's milk soap of my own with some goat's milk from my own goats. I love goat's milk soap.

One of my Older photos

That is still one of my personal faves. It was a warm March day back in 2008 after a really bad winter. We had snow on the ground for months and on this day almost all the snow melted away. I could feel the warm southern winds blowing in from the south but you could also feel the chill of the frozen river so one moment it felt like the heater was blowing on you and the next it would feel like a cold winter wind was blowing on you down at the Mississippi River in Fort Madison, Iowa.
