Calendars
I've added some new 2011 calendars to my store. I've kept the 2010 calendars in the store also as you can change the starting and ending months and year if you customize them so they will also work for the year 2011 also.
Please excuse the recommended for you on this one. I don't get to pick them and have no clue why nude women would be recommended to someone who likes ducks. I would think they would recommend other duck items instead. I love my Muscovy ducks so I created a calendar featuring an entire year of them for anyone who also loves Muscovy ducks.
2011 Abstract was created with photos I took of my various abstract paintings.
2011 Goats for all those folks out there that love goats. This one was created by photos I took of goats in 2007, 2009, and 2010.
2011 Chickens features both some vintage postcard images with chickens and my chicken photography

New Business Cards
I have recently added several new business cards to my Zazzle store. Now I have over 100 designs to choose from. I will continue to add new ones as well. Here are a few of the newest ones in the store.
And not a business card but too cute to resist. A squirrel :) Normally they stay in the woods across the way that belong to our neighbors and rarely come here as they don't like all the open space in the pasture but they can't resist the acorns that have fallen to the ground so there was one in the pasture yesterday and I was able to get some cute photos.
I think it is saying would you just leave me alone so I can eat my acorns in peace.

Chickens
I've just added some new items to my Zazzle store today. I got two Salmon Faverolle pullets (young hens) at the swap meet. :) I've wanted some for ages as I love their extra toe that the breed has and the tinted eggs the hens lay. Pictured above is one of them. They are so sweet.
I've also taken some more photos of my other chickens, guinea pigs, ect. and am adding them into the store also. I took so many photos this morning. I didn't have the camera handy when something funny happened though. Darn! A squirrel came to visit as there are now acorns in the pasture. Salt, Pepper, and Spice, my young Muscovy hens went over to check to squirrel out and followed it around and around the tree until it decided that instead of going around the tree in circles it would go up the tree. It was funny to watch and nobody got hurt.
Here are a couple of the other photos I did take this morning and have uploaded into the store.
My Turkin sure has grown from this little chick
to this today.
And my Creole Easter Egger Rooster
I love his creole color. He is really friendly also.

Holiday Cards and More
Sometimes you have to stop at the grocery store even if you are Amish. I went to an exotic animal sale last Sat. in Kalona, Iowa and took some photos on the way home. I got a cute pair of frizzle chickens at the sale.
Here are some of the new holiday photos I took this morning of the guinea pigs to use as greeting cards. I got the babies at the exotic sale. They are so sweet. I've never had baby guinea pigs before. They are all four boys so there are no worries of them having any babies themselves. I used to have an adult male guinea pig as a pet about 15 years ago. He lived to be 7 years old and passed away while I was away at collage. I'd never thought to get another one as a pet until now. Now I'll have the four to grow up together and keep each other company. The guinea pig I had in the past lived with my two pet hamsters I had back then and got along great with them.

The New Couple
I went to a swap meet this past weekend and somehow ended up bringing a pair of chickens home when I wasn't going to bring anything that was a live animal home with me. I'd only planned to sell some of my antiques and artwork and bring home some new books to read. Well, oops... I brought home some live animals along with those new books to read. My bantam flock was shrinking in size due to some of them dying of old age and I was left with no roosters for Annie, Much, and the other 2 no name Old English Game Bantam chickens I have. Now I have this new little rooster and a hen in his color also.
This little hen came home and laid an egg the same day. She is so friendly and is always following me around when I am down in the barn. I think I might end up naming her Friendly.
I have another swap meet on Sat. but animals are not allowed there so I won't even be tempted to bring any animals home unless they are antique glass chickens. LOL Yep, I collect chicken figurines also. Hopefully I will get some more stuff sold and maybe I will find some bargains also. I'll be on the lookout for cheap books I can read and then resale and things I can use as art supplies in my mixed media artwork or possible cheap photography props to use in my photography. Well, I better get busy and get some things done now. See ya sometime later!

More Roosters
Here are even more rooster items I've added to the store recently. I love doing photography and artwork with a chicken in it.
Now that I have added so many new chicken things to the store at once it is time to move onto a new theme for awhile. I'm just not sure what that new theme will be yet. I love to take photos of so many different things. I might make it down to the county fair and take photos of the animals and activities going on down there. I won't know what exactly I am adding to the store next until I actually add it to the store. I have 400 new photos that I took last week and haven't even gotten around to editing or using in any types of digital creations yet. Summer is my busy season. I do a lot more of my digital art in the winter time when I am indoors more. So even if I don't have the time to get around to the photos now I will eventually get around to them. It is esp. fun to work with summer photos on those cold winter days.

Roosters
A really nice lady brought some of her antique glass rooster collection to a farmer's market a few weeks ago for me to photograph. I thought that was so sweet of her. She had been to my store and saw that I love chickens. I've also been photographing my real roosters as well. :) So there are now several new rooster items in the store.

Digital Hen
I started with a photo I took of my vintage recipe tin. I have no clue how old it is or who made it as there are no markings on it. I got it for a quarter at a garage sale because I thought it was so pretty but that's getting off subject. So anyways... I took the photo and then I added a texture to it. After I added the texture I started playing around with the colors until I came up with this. I hope to play a bit more today before we leave for tonight's farmer's market. Then we have another farmer's market tomorrow. I'll take my camera with me both days and hopefully I'll get a chance to walk around the farmer's markets and take some photos. Who knows what phtography or art I will come up with next. :)

Turkins
Some new little Turkin chicks have joined the flock. I got 7 of them this weekend. For those that don't know a Turkin is not a cross between a turkey and a chicken. It is just a breed of chicken that happens to have no feathers on it's neck making it look like a turkey somewhat so that is why the breed is called Turkin. Here is some more info on Turkins at Feathersite.
