I have a lot of things I am wanting to upload to my Zazzle store but for the past couple of days I have been getting an error message, "Image has failed to upload." :( So for now I haven't been able to make many new products in the past few days. But I did get this made:
It was a busy weekend last weekend with swap meets then I was busy trying to work on my online stores the past few days. I have 65 cards pending approval at one site that must approve everything before it goes live for sale. I also have a few new things in my Deviantart store and Redbubble stores as well. A band called Hex Map is going to use one of my textures on their album art and give me credit. Woot! I'm hoping that might help bring more people my way and it helps them also.

Cattle Pastures
I've played with some photos I shot out the window on Weds. as we were coming home from running a few errands. I took photos of barns and cattle out in pastures.
This one was 10 layers before I flattened the image. I combined two different photos I took plus a texture from Playingwithbrushes.
I plan to take some more photos of cattle someday when it is a bit cooler outside. I want to add more cattle items to my cattle line of products at Zazzle. Maybe I will come across the photos I took of my show cattle I used to have back when I was in 4-H someday. I'm sure I have some around here somewhere then I could scan them in. I'll also take some photos of the neighbor's cattle someday as well.

The Heat of Summer
There is a extreme heat advisory today. So now that I am done with things that had to be done outside it is time to stay indoors and stay cool until it is time to leave for the Farmer's Market tonight. It's going to be a hot one but hopefully some buyers will still brave the heat. I'm able to work on some digital artwork though by being indoors for a few hours today. Here are a few of the newest digital art creations I've added to my Zazzle store.
Well, I am off to create some more. See ya later!

Digital Playing
I had some fun digitally playing the other day. I'll soon be adding some of these to my Zazzle store.

Hello
Hello. First off I am wishing my cousin a Happy Birthday!
I walked around a small Iowa town on Thursday night because it was so nice outside and I had someone that could stay at my table at the Farmer's Market and watch it for me while I was away. I took several photos. I found a few ghost signs I hadn't noticed before. Also some nice front porchs.

A New Texture To Share
"Insect damage" is a new texture to share. just click on the photo to go to Flickr where you may download this at a larger size. I have it as Creative Commons Non-Commercial. Feel free to use it in any of your non-commercial artwork. It's a photo I took of a large branch in a brush pile. I thought it might work as a texture layer for something. Enjoy! Remember this one is for non-commercial use only. Thanks.
I played around with a photo I took. This one is Copyright All Rights Reserved but I wanted to share it with you. I call it "For Rent."

It was a boarded up building in a town in Iowa that I photographed. Then played around with digitally added texture and playing around with the colors. The original building is painted a pale blue. I was thinking if it wasn't damaged too much it could be fixed up into a loft like they do in Kansas City and Wichita with the old buildings. They sometimes have a shop on the first floor and then the other floors are apartments. If I didn't love living in the county so much I would love to have an antiques and photography shop in one of them and then live above it so all I had to do was walk down the stairs to work each morning.

Farmer's Market Goods
I was recently asked to take some photos at the Farmer's Market. Here is one of the photos I took. I thought there was something missing though so I added a texture to it. I have some more photos still on the camera. They are not wanting to download to the computer for some reason but as soon as I can get them transferred from the camera to the computer I will be playing around with them also. It was a very hot and uncomfortable day last Tuesday at the market. I'm thinking if it is that hot again this week we will skip the market as there were very few people there buying anything from anyone. So why waste gas money? I'll still be going to the markets this summer though and probably taking more photos as well.

Some More New Photos
I've had a chance to get around to some of the photos I have been taking and uploading them to the store. I have more to upload but I keep getting an error message that says the image has failed to upload. So I'll keep working on new art and also keep trying to upload what I already have done.
Here are some of my new additions to the store.
A section of an old sign at a jewelry store taken on a quick walk around the downtown area one day while waiting for the Farmer's Market to open for the evening.
I added textures to this one. It was an old sign I spotted as I was walking around the square of a small town waiting for the Farmer's Market to open for the evening. There are some fun things you will see if you only take the time to stop and look.
And some more photos I took last week at the county fair.
These last two were entries in the antiques class. I didn't even know that would could show your antiques at the fair. There were some neat things there.

Inspiration
I am on an Inspiration Stay-cation. There is a blog and a Flickr group also. It is so inspiring. I wish I had more time. So far I have been inspired to paint and to use textures in my photos. I have learned some new things and viewed some amazing works of art from other artists.

County Fair
I went down to the county fair for awhile last week and took a few photos before it started to pour rain. I left because there was also lighting and the fair grounds are prone to flooding. I got a couple of photos though. Maybe later I will go to another fair and take more photos.
This photo was awarded a Today's Best Award as a poster on Sat. Woot!
I still feel so far behind on my photos. I went out this morning and took several more too. Oh well... I love to take photos and I love to work with them so even if I don't have the time to get to them all right now I will eventually get around to working with them and adding them to the store also.

Digital Collage
I just love digital collage esp. digital collages with vintage elements. I have added some new digital collage work to the store recently. I'll be adding even more to the store at a later date as I get more digital collages done.
Here are some from other peoples stores that caught my eye on a quick search.
